Edison Ehie Allegedly Appointed As Chief of Staff by Fubara

In a twist of political fate, Hon Edison Ehie, previously the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, is rumored to be the freshly appointed Chief of Staff for Governor Siminalayi Fubara. This speculation gained momentum following Ehie's sudden resignation from his dual role as Speaker and assembly member on December 29, 2023, a move he officially communicated to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Should these whispers hold truth, Ehie, the once-representative of Ahoada-East Constituency II, would be stepping into the shoes formerly filled by Hon. Chidi Amadi.
