ASO ROCK: TINUBU MEETS WITH THE OBA OF LAGOS AT THE PRESIDENTIAL VILLA
The incumbent Commander in Chief of the Army Staff, President Tinubu, has at this moment received an august visitor—His Royal Highness Oba of Benin, Omo N'oba uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare 11.
The Oba of Benin, who was crowned Oba of Benin in 2016, was also newly appointed on May 16, 2023, to be the new Chancellor of NOUN [National Open University] by the Federal Republic of Nigeria.The vice chancellor of NOUN—National Open University—made the due announcement when the Managing Board of the school paid a courtesy visit to the Royal king. With kind gestures, the vice chancellor also pronounced that he believes the tenure of the new Oba will bring about massive improvement to the School body as a whole.
The purpose of his Royal highness visit to the Presidential villa is still unknown; however, it is suggested that the Oba of Benin is at the villa on a courtesy visit to discuss the plight of the citizens of Nigeria and also to congratulate the newly elected president.
