Role Overview
As a Facility Specialist, you will:
Oversee specific functional duties related to facilities assessments, maintenance, and repairs.
Ensure the cost-effective and safe operation of the assigned facility, focusing on long-term asset value preservation.
Coordinate base maintenance activities across various business lines and functions.
Supervise the Facility Management (FM) organization, aiding the Facility Manager in budget preparation, cost tracking, permits, license requirements, and contractor selection.
Implement quality control programs using LEAN methodology to standardize and optimize facility performance.
Participate in facility projects supporting key FM activities in operations, maintenance, property management, engineering, and construction.
Plan and direct FM services, including facility operating systems, maintenance processes, repair and improvement, custodial services, and security operations.
Coordinate preventive maintenance activities to optimize personnel and equipment productivity and utilization.
Recommend operating methods and equipment to reduce FM costs and enhance service quality and safety.
Coordinate the preparation of contract scope and specifications and administer facility service agreements for maintenance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Seven (7) years Facility or Project Management work experience.
