Police spokesperson Muyiwa Adejobi has urged Nigerians not to underestimate the 2024 slogan "No Gree For Anybody."
Adejobi emphasized that individuals should refrain from "misusing the slogan or exploiting it to criticize security personnel in the line of duty."
It's worth recalling that Adejobi had cautioned against the adoption of the 2024 slogan, labeling it as a highly perilous phrase capable of inciting conflict. (Read more here)
However, contradictorily, the Director of Defence Media Operations for the Army, Edward Buba, and the Department of State Services (DSS) later employed the same slogan, advising Nigerians to defend themselves against terrorism. (Read more here)
"Capitalizing on it is ill-advised," warns Police spokesperson Muyiwa Adejobi, urging Nigerians to refrain from abusing the "No Gree For Anybody" slogan, mere hours after the Army and DSS endorsed it.
Shortly after the statements from the DSS and Army, Adejobi took to social media, reiterating the plea for Nigerians to use the slogan responsibly.
