Laycon downplays claim he’ll join BBNaija All-Stars
Laycon, winner of the 2020 BBNaija reality show, has denied joining the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All-Stars.

Laycon, winner of the 2020 BBNaija reality show, has downplayed a claim that he will be joining the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All-Stars.

The eighth edition of the BBNaija reality show  launched on Sunday night as a star-studded season.

This year’s edition comprises of different housemates from the first season in 2006 to the recently concluded edition in 2022.

There have also been rumours that some notable former housemates will be introduced in the coming days.

In a recent Twitter post, a fan argued that Laycon, Vee and Tacha will be among the housemates introduced to the BBNaija All-Stars house next week.

Reacting to the tweet, Layton said whatever the fan heard “is nonsense”.

“I hear say Laycon, Vee and Tacha dey enter Big Brother house next week. This season drama will be too much,” the tweet read, to which Laycon replied: “Na nonsense you hear sha”.

The reality TV star, born Olamilekan Agbelese, rose to prominence after winning the fifth edition of BBNaija.

He has continued to enjoy fame in the country’s entertainment industry with different musical projects.

In April 2021, he dropped ‘Shall We Begin’, his debut album. His second album was released in September of the same year.

He also  put out an album titled ‘Bioba’.

Laycon recently bagged a Master of Arts (MA) and a second degree from the University of Portsmouth, England.
